HALL IMPROVEMENTS
The main hall has been recently decorated.
In the Conference room we now have the facilities for video conferencing using 'state of the art' technology.
In July we are having Solar Panels fitted to the rear facing roof, which will enhance our commitment to reducing our energy bills. The project has been funded from a National Lottery grant.

LOCAL INFORMATION
We are delighted to announce the Parish Council has funded a new village map mounted on a lectern in the Village Hall garden. The map shows our local footpaths and landmarks with some lovely illustrations.

Join the 'Active All Stars' Zumba exercise group every Wednesday 6-7pm at Marchington Hall. The committee of trustees who administer the Hall and organise community events is as follows:
Rodney Paul is the chair, supported by Judith Lewis as secretary, David Daniels as treasurer and then Ian Morgan, Caroline Ellis, Andrew Mann and David Allen.

Solar News
The Hall Committee has successfully applied for a grant from the National Lottery for £15,000 to install Solar panels on the rear facing roof of the Hall. As the Hall is located within the Conservation Area full planning permission had to be given. The Solar panels are being installed in July.
Projector and screen
The main hall now has a ceiling mounted projector, ideal for displaying presentations and other digital images. A new electrically powered screen is due to be installed during the summer months.
Video Conferencing Equipment
The Hall is now in possession of 'state of the art' video conferencing equipment, primarily located within the Conference room, it can also be moved onto the main stage, allowing participants to join video conferences with their colleagues globally. The video equipment includes an electronic whiteboard, perfect for engaging with your audiences and can be linked directly to a laptop providing a large digital display.
