HALL IMPROVEMENTS
We are delighted to report that the upstairs kitchen, adjacent to the committee room, has been the subject of a refurbishment and is now looking much smarter. It now boasts a new cooker, fridge, lighting and hot water urn, making it a much more useable space. Thanks to Caroline Ellis for her leadership on this project.
Passers by may also have noticed our smart new oak sign in the garden.

NEW LOOK COMMITTEE STEPS UP
The committee of trustees who administer the Hall and organise community events took on a new shape yesterday (26/03/24). Several members have stepped down, including our long serving treasurer, Geraldine Flavell, who officially hands over the reins to new volunteer David Daniels next month. We are delighted to also welcome Rodney Paul and Ian Morgan to our number who join the existing team, Peter Willmot, Judith Lewis, Caroline Ellis and Andrew Mann. Sue Willmot has also re-joined the committee as events coordinator.

NEW CANOPY
The Hall Committee has been working behind the scenes for many months (years!) to plan and raise funds for very welcome improvements to the façade of the village hall building. Plans were drawn up to meet the requirements of the conservation area for an attractive and substantial oak canopy to replace the unattractive and rather decrepit flat cover. Villagers will have seen that the project in now nearing completion and it will be formally 'opened' early in the new year.
